Why are donations important?

AMV France is an association that aims to bring together the AMV community, promote this visual art, and foster exchanges among its members. The association also organizes events, contests, and gatherings for the French-speaking AMV community.

AMV France provides a space for creators, both online and at conventions, to share their works, receive feedback from the community, and integrate. It contributes to introducing this art to a wider audience.

It is essential for an association like AMV France to maintain effective financial management to continue to exist.

Until now, the association mainly relied on the annual membership fees of its members to finance its activities, which was already not enough to cover the budget. The rest was supplemented by donations. Currently, we struggle to cover fixed costs such as website fees and bank charges.

Making a donation allows:

• Maintenance of services: Donations help cover fixed costs, such as website fees, bank charges, and costs related to organizing events and contests. This ensures the sustainability of the association and the availability of its services for the community.
• Improvement of activities: Additional funds from donations can be used to enhance the association's activities, such as investing in new equipment, organizing more ambitious events, or offering more attractive prizes during contests.
• Expansion and visibility: With more financial resources, the association can broaden its scope, reach a larger audience, and have a more significant impact on the promotion of AMV.
• Adaptation to changing needs: Donations can help address specific situations, such as unexpected costs or economic changes.

These donations have allowed us to date to maintain our website, which centralizes all essential information for our community. Our presence as exhibitors at various conventions such as Japan Expo, Made in Asia, Animest, and Epitanime, allowing us to gather the community, foster connections, and become known to the public. Donations have also enabled us to acquire equipment such as televisions, audio equipment, and the branding of our booths. Finally, it helped us funding beautiful rewards, including a trophy for the most significant contest of the year: Japan Expo.

We already want to warmly thank everyone who contributes whenever they can. Your continuous support has allowed us to achieve our goals so far. We hope to maintain this momentum and even strengthen it to realize more exciting projects.
