REGISTRATION
Step 1: You must have an account on the AMV France website.
Step 2: Once your account is created, head to the register Discord channel to confirm your participation.
MUSIC & TEAM LEADERS
Voting system: Team leaders will be decided, as they are every year, by a vote via a Google Form.
Submit your song: When voting for team leaders via the Google Form, you must provide a link (YouTube or Spotify) to the song of your choice.
Selection: Troll songs or AI-generated music will be automatically removed. The judges and organizers will also provide a music pack to ensure a diverse selection!
Golden rule: Participants cannot edit to the song they submitted themselves.
Former leaders: Last year's team leaders cannot be team leaders again this year (namely: Spike, Jinzo, Hatsuyo, Alderwick, Vanitas, Ben, and NVA).
SUBMISSION & MEP RULES
Submission: The MEP must be submitted on the website. The team leader will be responsible for providing the name of the MEP as well as the full list of its members.
Mandatory music: You must, of course, make your MEP exclusively using a song from the provided pack.
Duration: There is no minimum time limit for the MEP!
Confidentiality: In addition to the judges' ranking, a live Audience Award will be held a few days after the submissions (similar to the CDC tournament at Japan Expo). To keep the live event a surprise, it is strictly FORBIDDEN to upload your MEPs or your music before the tournament.
NEW AI-RELATED RULES
No scenes entirely generated by AI (animated character and background).
No AI-generated characters in the foreground.
Generative AI can be used for tasks such as background cleaning (e.g., removing an element from a background using Photoshop).
The main focus of a composition must not be an AI-generated element.
2026 EDITION SCHEDULE
From July 26 to August 11 at 11:59 PM (GMT+2): Registration on the website and Discord validation.
From August 12 to August 14 at 9:00 PM (GMT+2): Voting for team leaders & Submitting music.
August 15: Team formation.
From August 17 to August 23 at 11:59 PM (GMT+2): Editing phase and submitting the MEP on the website.
WARNING: FAKE NICKNAME RULE
Registering with a fake nickname is allowed, BUT under the following conditions:
You are OBLIGATED to reveal your true identity to the organizers before the leaders choose their team members.
If you do not do so, the entire team you belong to will be disqualified. Please send us a DM if this applies to you!
