Hello everyone, here is the announcement for the NON-EXCLUSIVE AMV Awards contest of the AMV-France association for its second edition!

- No theme is imposed—let your imagination run free.

- The video must be at least 1 minute 30 seconds long.

- The video is NOT exclusive to this contest.

- The following containers are accepted: AVI, MP4, MKV, MPEG, MPEG2, WMV.

- AMVs, GMVs, and M@Ds are allowed.

- Plagiarism is forbidden!

- Your video must not exceed 500MB or a maximum bitrate of 30Mb/s, unless a valid reason is provided.

- Your video must not contain any logos or subtitles (unless it is part of the clip’s concept).

- The videos used must have a direct and obvious connection with animation. Videos from video games are also accepted. You may mix these images with non-animation sources (drawings, 3D, etc.). Any clip that raises questions will be reviewed to determine whether it can be considered an AMV or not.

You will also have more freedom here, as you are not limited to only one AMV per person. You may submit multiple AMVs and participate in several MEPs, within the limit of 2 solos or MEPs + 1 MEP per person.

(For example:

Combo 1 = Solo + Solo + MEP

Combo 2 = Solo + MEP + MEP

Combo 3 = MEP + MEP + MEP)

The video must be uploaded via the website. A tutorial for uploading is available here

The video file name must follow this format: Nickname_-_The_Title.mp4 (or .mkv, .avi, etc.).

The deadline is January 4th, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

The top 10 entries will later be broadcast during the AMV Awards live show on the AMV-France channel, from 10th place to 1st.

The jury will be composed of three members: Amanystya, Antho, and Redrum.

You will also send your clip to one of the contest organizers (they will check that your clip complies with all rules before forwarding it to the judges).

A public vote will also be organized via Google Forms, published on Discord and Twitter, and the results will be announced during the live show.
